Avatar-based Learning
Created an avatar series of eLearning to help transform a week of Instructor led training into self-paced modules for learners.
Daysie the Avatar guides the 9 micro-module series. She was built in a cartoon style with no colour to represent diversity and ensure to act as a consistent representative for the Global training of this series.

The goal was to increase the accessibility and flexibility of the training for the learners, and make it sustainable for future training needs. I started with reviewing all the content, and completing a needs analysis to determine if the goals of the training have changed. The team wanted the training to reflect diversity in the modes of delivery and the content itself. Then I went on to create a storyboard that encompasses the different components of the training and created avatar characters for each piece, and took long and difficult concepts and turned them into bite-sized videos with animations for the learners to absorb easily.
This training included different learning plans with structured timing for different learners. The total deliverable included 9 micro-modules which had a series of avatars to represent different functionalities within the company, along with various media formats to engage the learners and encourage self-efficacy. I built this training as a flipped classroom model. The goal was for the learners to learn all the content prior to meeting with their designated Customer Success Manager. This provided an opportunity for the clients to ask insightful questions and ensure they are knowledgeable of their responsibilities and the processes they are involved in.
